
Dr. Jessica Moore (she/her/hers) earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia. She completed her doctoral internship at the University of Notre Dame counseling center. She is currently a postdoctoral resident under the supervision of Patric Leukel, Ph.D.
Dr. Moore’s experience spans various college counseling centers and collegiate athletic departments where she developed a special interest in working with young adults and athletes. Her passion lies in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment/transition concerns, identity concerns, relational concerns, and athletic/performance-related concerns.
Dr. Moore utilizes an integrative approach in therapy blending primarily Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) techniques. She seeks to create a genuine, non-judgmental space where clients can be their authentic selves. Within her multiculturally-focused approach, she collaborates with clients to create an individualized experience that acknowledges their diverse experiences and needs.
