Postdoctoral Resident

Virginia Therapy & Wellness is looking for a pre-licensed, postdoctoral psychology resident to join our growing group practice. Candidates must hold a doctorate in clinical psychology or a related field, with at least two years of experience providing individual therapy to adolescents, young adults, and/or adults.

An ideal candidate is highly motivated, dedicated to their professional growth, and enthusiastic about working in a collaborative, supportive environment. If you're eager to advance your training while making a real difference for a diverse client base, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Complete intake and diagnostic evaluations

Provide individual therapy (and group therapy, if interested)

Develop treatment plans and collaborate on treatment goals with clients

Complete progress notes

Complete termination notes

Report directly to your supervisor

Collaborate with other medical providers, schools, and family as necessary

Prompt communication with your supervisor, colleagues, and clients

Excellent written and verbal communication, time management, record keeping, and organizational skills
